Bonjour! My name is Melissa and I'm a wedding and portrait photographer in the Pacific Northwest. This blog is where I want to tell you the beautiful stories of my clients, share their weddings, and give you a behind the scenes peek of this crazy business that I love. Grab a glass of champagne, snuggle up, and get lost in love stories... xoxo
02. About Us
Karen, Seth, and I became fast friends from the very first time they contacted me. They have the most wonderful sense of humor. I will never forget the first email Karen sent me, she described them as an “interracial east indian/australian and non-Indian/white/sort of Canadian/Jewish” couple. At our first meeting, we sat and talked and laughed for hours. I literally left and wrote them and told them that for any reason if they felt like I wasn’t a good fit for them as a wedding photographer, I firmly believed we should be good friends anyways. They have been a joy to work with through every email, photo shoot, and minute spent with them. The best part of my job is observing two people in love and how they interact with each other, and Karen and Seth are so wonderful. They are the perfect balance of kindness, laughter, joy, style, and fun. And when the wedding day came around, it was so incredible to meet the people who were responsible for making Karen and Seth who they are- genuine, fun, people who were bursting at the seams with love. I will never forget the look on their faces during their wedding vows, the speeches given, and the night of crazy dancing. It was everything that makes my job the best job in the whole world. THANK YOU Karen and Seth for the honor, I am so incredibly happy for you and feel blessed to know you!
